It would be impossible to explain how much Rich and I enjoyed shooting Eric and Melissa’s wedding!
I started out the day at the Groove Salon where Melissa, her bridesmaids, and her female family members ALL had their hair and makeup done! We were there for quite a while, but the time flew by because I was so busy documenting the gorgeous hairstyles, fabulous makeup, and all of the fun and laughter!
Melissa’s hairstyle was just gorgeous, and very unique…

The stunning bride!

The MAC makeup artists from Belk at the Hamilton Place Mall did a fantastic job on everyone’s makeup!

Check out Melissa’s eyes! Amazing! She is such a beautiful person – inside and out! We are so thankful to know her!

Melissa’s neice Rylee was more adorable than words and Rich and I could not stop taking photos of her. Every time we were near her, she’d do something to top the last cute thing she’d done.![]()

See what I mean?

As wedding photographers, much of the enjoyment of the day is determined by the mood and attitude of the families involved. Melissa and Eric’s families are just incredible, caring, giving and FUN!

Rich spent part of his morning with the guys as they played some golf! I love the shots he captured, and I love that Eric will always be able to enjoy golf photos of his wedding morning!

The guys!

The dress:

Having recently shot a wedding at this church, Rich challenged himself not to take any similar photos – so he got creative! I love this image of Melissa’s gown in this unique storage room!

Gorgeous details:

Perfection! I want one!

Rich’s ring shots rock my world! AMAZING!

Preparations:

The girls:

The handsome groom, Eric:

The super sweet and debonair Zach, Melissa’s nephew!

The guys:

Pre-ceremony details:

And the beautiful and meaningful ceremony!

The reception was held at the Hunter Museum, and every single detail was perfection.

The incredible bride and groom…

One of my favorite photos of a bride and groom being introduced at the reception – EVER!

We loved the natural light pouring in through the windows, the beautiful set up, and impeccable details:

The delicious food catered by Events with Taste…

Rich and I took the bride and groom out on the beautiful rooftop for a few brief images:

I love everything about this image! Beautiful!

The cake:

And LOTS and lots of dancing…these people know how to party, and they did not even think about stopping until they were told to go! It was most definitely one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever been a part of. I had to remind myself incessantly that I was not there to dance with Melissa, but in fact, to document Melissa dancing![]()

The send off!

Eric and Melissa, Rich and I cannot express how honored we were to be part of your wedding day, and we hope you love your photos as much as we do! Thank you for trusting us with your memories!!!

Oh my gosh, you two! These are just STUNNING!
beautiful details and an AMAZING venue! I also relly love the rooftop shots!
Just one question, he’s totally sending the hook `em horns sign as they come down the stairs istn’ he?!! This is the coolest couple you’ve shot…that I’ve seen so far.
(if it’s not the horns sign, just don’t tell me)
The pics look awesome, like usual!
What a beautiful wedding and AMAZING shots!! I still get excited looking at other people’s wedding photos even though they are not my own, simply bc you are so gifted!!
These are so great, Rich! Your art is just spectacular!!!
Okay, so I FINALLY looked at them. One of my fav’s yet. Love all the locations and the details in between. And by the way, you should be pleased to know that I now officially have a new favorite “Ring-Shot!” Gorgeous. Love the harsh, textured rock with the sleek metal/diamond.
WOW!!! They are fantasic! You guys did a awesome job, thank you SO much can’t wait to show the rest of the family.
your ring shots are absolutely my favorite of any i’ve seen (& i’ve worked in jewelry for a long time & flipped through countless jewelry magazines)! when i still worked at the jewelry store, we’d go on your site just to see the amazing ring shoots you’d done! you could seriously be a jewelry photographer, you ARE a jewelry photographer!! is there a place where you have a group of ring shots together? i’d like to do a post about it. i just recently tried to do a few, inspired by your work & wow.. it’s difficult! the focus, detail, orientation, & overall art forwardness of your photography is stunning & true talent that i admire so much! so, thanks for all of your inspiration! in fact, just like a guitar player aspires to hendrix, i could only hope to be as talented behind the lens as you some day!!
Melissa & Eric’s wedding day was so special and she was breathtaking coming down that aisle. Your pictures have captured their love and happiness spot on. Great job! The
ring shot is gorgeous! I love the pictures of Rylee and how her innocense was captured in so many shots. What a beautiful family! We love you all! Fran & Scott
