How would I describe Joey and Mary? Infectiously happy.

When you’re around them you can’t help but be happy with them. Smiling faces are so a part of who they are that I knew there wouldn’t be too many serious poses during their photoshoot. Which was fine with me because I had an absolute blast with them! I just couldn’t be more happy for them. These two are best of friends and they showed it.

Let me introduce you to Joey and Mary!

Ronella & Skyler » Engaged

So excited that Ronella and Skyler picked me to photograph their wedding. From the very first meeting I had with them, I went on about how cool their names are. Ronella’s sister is a fantastic family photographer in Birmingham and wanted to do the photographs but she’ll actually be IN the wedding. So Ronella picked me! Woot!

Ronella and Skyer both are just fun, passionate people that are completely, madly in love with one another. It was definitely a joy to be around them and photograph their session. We were having so much fun, it was hard to be serious at times! The results I couldn’t be more thrilled with! Check out a few of my favorites below!

After hanging downtown for a while, we went up to Lookout Mountain to finish our session at Sunset Rock. What a beautiful place!

We hiked in and knew I was in trouble when I had to go back up to the top. Talk about winded! But I finally made it.

It’s so hard to choose my favorites. I was about to put “I love this photo!” above every one of them but decided I didn’t want to annoy my blog readers. Hope you enjoyed the photos. Check back for their wedding photos in May of next year. It can’t get here fast enough!

The Hamaker Family!

I got to hang out with Steve, Shannon and Foy — the super cool Hamaker family — on Monday to get some updated photos! You may remember Steve’s name. His company – Southside Creative Group – did my AMAZING logo! They even added a page on their website about little ol’ me. Check it!

The last time I photographed little Foy was April of last year! So as you might expect, he’s changed a WHOLE lot! He was just full of personality. His main thought process goes a little like this — “RUN”! That’s all his mind thought about. Moving, running and exploring. Because of this, I had to act fast to get all of my shots. One sec the little guy was there and the very next – he’s gone!

haha… he never made it to the other parent! A.D.D boy (Alana’s the same) ran about halfway and then decided he wanted to play in the road! Fun photos, nonetheless!
