I really enjoyed spending time with Holly and Christian as we walked around downtown Chattanooga (on prom night!) and then drove up to Sunset Rock. It was crowded downtown so we had to get used to being photographed around a lot of people. But they eased into it like champs and did an incredible job showing their love for each other. We ended the session with an amazing sunset over looking the valley. Gorgeous couple in gorgeous surroundings. Doesn’t get any better – except maybe at the beach where they’re getting married later this year! Enjoy some of my favorites from the session. Loved how artistic and beautiful these turned out!

Don’t hate on the hair. It was really windy on the mountain that day!

Stephanie & Andrew >> Engaged

First thing you notice about Andrew and Stephanie when you hang around with them is their chemistry. Loved being around them for their engagement session on Sunday! So much amazingness flying around during our time together that I probably took way too many photos. I just couldn’t help myself though. Not only are they an incredibly beautiful couple but the weather and light we had to work with was awesome!

Although it was extremely hard to choose, check out my favorite photos from the session below.

I CAN NOT WAIT to shoot their wedding soon! It’s going to be SOOO much fun! I’m going to have to focus on getting in shape because there is going to be some major dancing and celebrating at their wedding!

Michelle & Travis >> Engaged!

After rescheduling several times because of weather, I was so happy that everyones schedules lined up and I could FINALLY meet and photograph Michelle and Travis’ engagement session!

It was so cold that day. So if you notice them hugging and bundling up in most of these photos, you’ll know why. They brought their son along so I was glad to grab a couple of photos with him as well!

Love these photos of these two! Such a wonderful connection they have with each other!

Thank you again Michelle and Travis! I had an absolute blast with you two (and a half). It was cold but we made it through it. You two look amazing in your photos! Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Haley & Brad » Engagement

Happy Birthday Haley! Today is Haley’s b-day and I worked hard to get these images up for her by today!

Haley and Brad don’t just make up a gorgeous couple but are also some of the nicest people you’ll meet. I so enjoyed hanging out with them for a couple hours walking around downtown. We laughed a lot and I nearly got run over several times… but these photos make it completely worth it!

We had postponed this session because it was super cloudy and gray outside. Thank goodness we did. During this session, it was a bit hot but the light was amazing! Give me a place with good light and beautiful shadows, I’m a kid in a candy store. Enjoy these photos and if you want to give Haley a present too, just write a comment below on how much you love her engagement photos!

A couple of my daughter

Most of the time, I feel I’m too busy to actually photograph my own daughter. That’s why I’m so thankful for Heather taking up the slack, learning photography, becoming an amazing photographer and taking loads of photographs of Alana. But every once in a while, I’m in the right spot to photograph her and I wanted to share three with everyone!

While I was shooting some headshots of Paul Baswell (pics coming soon), Alana, Heather, Pauls sister Christen hung out at the Aquarium and Alana felt right at home in the water. Soon Heather stripped her down and Alana got a REALLY soaked diaper.

Check out how saggy this diaper is! haha. I’ve heard of stories of those things bursting if enough water gets into them. Fortunately, that didn’t happen.

The next day, I got a photo of her in this, uh, field really close to our home. The grass was about as tall as her! I love my little Alana so much. She’s the coolest kid in the world!

Meghan and Jason | Engaged!

I’ve known Meghan for a long time…almost another lifetime ago. She’s been a close friend and I was so excited when she contacted me from Ohio where she’s studying to become a doctor. We’re all really proud of her – she’s going to make an amazing pediatrician! This was the first time I got to meet Jason, and when we started joking immediately I knew that this photoshoot was going to go really well… and it did! Check out some of my favorites…
