You captured our relationship so flawlessly and it shows in every single photo. This picture in particular is my absolute favorite. The gentleness that Alan shows and my look of “awe” at him symbolizes our love in such a wonderful way. I could never have been happier with any of our pictures. I can’t thank you enough for fulfilling our vision of what we wanted our photos to be. This is what you were born to do, Rich! Thank you so much for being our photographer and our friend! I keep looking through all my photos and – well, I love ALL of them, of course – but I keep coming back to one in particular. It was taken right after we walked back down the aisle and away from the wedding ceremony. We had literally been man and wife for seconds. I remember little things, like how fast my heart was beating and how bad my cheeks hurt from smiling so big. Bo was barefoot because we didn’t take the time to put his shoes on after the foot-washing part of our ceremony. We were so out of breath due to a combination of adrenaline and laughter, and possibly hysteria. I remember trying to take my veil off so I could kiss Bo, and it got caught in my hair. We were also trying to hold hands, hug, kiss, walk, run, talk, breathe and laugh all at once. There was so much going on, but I remember every bit of it. The picture is beautiful, but what makes it so special to me is remembering those first few seconds of being Mrs. Hughes, how amazing it felt… and still does.
