Our trip to the Aquarium!

Heather, Amber, Alana and I got to go to the Aquarium on Saturday morning. Taking advantage of our new membership!  In one trip, we nearly paid for our membership fee.  And we can go as much as we like for a whole year. What an amazing deal the membership is.  Also, since we got the membership, we don’t feel pressured to do both buildings.  We can take our time at one building and not feel rushed.

Since the last time the family went to the Aquarium, I had to leave early for a photoshoot so this time, I brought my full arsenal of camera equipment to document our experience.  With some of the pictures below (I believe around 10), I also created wallpaper for you guys to enjoy!  Just download the appropriate link below the picture and enjoy!

This little showoff would hang onto the branch with just his beak.  Then he’d get back on the branch and take a bow to his audience.  It was fun to watch!

Penguins!  This was the first time I’ve seen the penguins and they were really active! So fun!

Then we got to go to the new jellyfish exhibit.  It has only been around for a week.  Jellyfish are some of the most beautiful creatures. I wish there was a lucrative job photographing jellyfish.  But only if I’m safe behind glass from them though.  If anyone knows a job opening with those specifications, please let me know!

Look at these cute little guys. Next time I go, I’m going to read more about them.  We were too busy taking pics and chasing Alana around!

The look on Alana’s face most of the time.  She loves the aquarium!

I saw this cool opportunity for a photo so I grabbed it.  Sweet family. I gave her my business card so she could contact me for these photos… hopefully she does!  I love this photo!

Outside, this guys was playing the steel drum and had a table full of instruments for people to play along with him.  I was an idiot and focused on Alana without getting the whole scene for you to enjoy.  Lesson learned.  But hope you enjoy!

Tedd - Very nice photos! Question: How do you get clear pictures through the glass? I don’t have a spectacular digicam, just a Kodak M863, 8.2MP.

I’ll be starting as a volunteer at the aquarium next week and my camera will be going with me for sure.

Joann Anderson - I’ve loved visiting your website!! A family member was in the wedding you shot last weekend. He was tagged on Facebook. I was curious, so I’ve been looking around your webpage!! Your pictures are AWESOME!!! I downloaded the picture of the blue bird above for wallpaper – THANK YOU!! :)

bonnie - the black and white of alana in awe of the aquarium is amazing!
