Tucker Froehlich » Newborn

I just had the amazing opportunity to do a photoshoot for our good friends Chris and Jennifer!

I had done a session for them about a year ago but this one was completely different because they just became parents! We’re really excited for them, and Tucker has been a dream baby!

Check out this first picture… isn’t he the happiest baby you’ve ever seen? Right when I walked in the room he started smiling. I must have a way with kids! At only four weeks old, too!

Both Chris and Jennifer are amazing people with an amazing zest for life. They’re going to make incredible parents. Tucker is definitely blessed.

It seems like every baby I do a session for lately has a onesie made by our good friend Tobi Weldon. She’s the owner of Ivey Handcrafted. Check out her stuff and buy a onesie from her. They’re incredibly well made and cool looking as all get out. Everyone has one except us! We’d better get on the ball!

A photo to show scale. Check out how small little Tucker is at 4 weeks old!

This has got to be one of my favorite shots of a baby I’ve done recently. Love it.

Most of my photoshoots are pretty exhausting and Tucker was… “tuckered” out.:)

Since they’re good friends from our church, Heather came along with me to bring them dinner as well. Dinner and a photoshoot. Can’t get any better than that! Here we are doing our best zoolander pose. Alana doesn’t know what to think…

We love you guys! Can’t wait till next time!

Foy » Session Two!

I had the privilege to hang out will a really cool family on Saturday! You may remember me doing this little guys first session about 3 months ago when he was a newborn and doing his Zoolander impersonation. He’s definitely grown a lot but just a cute and alert as ever!

Well, Steve and Shannon have been asking me to do his next session for a while now but EVERY time the weather has been horrible. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were finally able to get together… and Foy brought his adoring fans with him also! We started off at their home but ended up in the downtown area to meet up with Shannon’s family who had come in from around the country.

Check out some of my favorites!

And probably the best group shot moment I’ve ever photographed! Everything about this photo is perfect! Feel the energy!

Because I had such a fun group of people and I couldn’t choose between the two, I’m including BOTH self-portraits!

So we don’t take ourselves too seriously…

I had an incredible time with your family! What a great group of people! Let’s do it again next time you’re all in town!

Adeline Elizabeth is here!

My brother and his wife, Jackie, had their baby girl yesterday! You may remember the maternity session I did for them on Easter. Now she’s here! She’s so cute with dark curly hair. It’s so amazing to me to see babies with hair because I’m so used to Alana’s little fuzz head. Here are the stats for the girls:

Born: 7:59pm
Weight: 8lb 7oz
Length: 21″
Looks: cute as a bug (a lady bug that is — not a roach)

Check out these quick photos I grabbed of her!

Jeff just became a dad! Wow! Here he is holding his daughter for the very first time.

She had huge feet. Everyone was commenting on them. She’s going to be either a basketball player or a swimmer with those flippers!

Ever wonder what your hands and feet would look like if you stayed in the bath tub for 9 months? This will give you a pretty good idea.

Mom and baby. For nine months Adeline has been with them constantly but only now do they really know what she looks like. It’s such an amazing feeling to finally getting to see her.

So cute!

Side note: those Erlanger cups are the best! We still use ours constantly!

When we go back to the hospital at lunch, I’m going to try to get Jeff to write a few things on here about his first experiences of being a dad. Hopefully he won’t be too busy! I’ll add it to the bottom here.

Jeff the proud papa here! After a long anxious nine months my beautiful little girl is here. I couldn’t be more amazed and awed by Adeline and my wife Jackie. God made himself known repeatedly throughout the long day. God’s strength and protection made my normally queasy self strong when my wife needed for me to be. His hedge of protection was around my daughter when she came out and the cord was wrapped 3 times around her neck. She wasn’t breathing but as soon as the doctor laid her down, the jolt made her begin breathing. Her first cries brought tears to my eyes. A scary moment for a first time dad. The doctors and nurses were amazing and such a comfort to my wife and I. God is amazing and I am humbled by the job of being in charge of raising a young Christian lady. A daunting task. I pray for his help and guidance. Thanks for everyone’s prayers. God was listening as always, and answered our prayers. Praise and Glory to Him! Jeff
