Taco Mamacita!

Two things we love in Chattanooga: Southside Creative Group and cool small businesses that are located here.  Well, an amazing restaurant called Taco Mamacita that started here in Chattanooga recently expanded to Nashville.  Along with the expansion comes the need for new website photos.  So when Steve Hamaker from Southside called me up, we were excited to participate in his project.

The owners of Taco Mamcita, Taylor and Mike Monen, did an incredible job with their first restaurant located on North Market Street but they REALLY outdid themselves with their recently opened Nashville location. And people are absolutely loving it.  Only 7 weeks old, it’s completely shoulder to shoulder on Friday and Saturday nights. That’s pretty good with virtually no advertising at all. It just goes to show that they have something really special going on.

Here is the outside of the awesome new restaurant located close to Vanderbilt at 1200 Villa Place in the Edgehill Village area.

I got some cool detail shots but I’m always drawn to the more artistic ones.  This photo was for me.:)

Taylor did all of the interior decorating and just did an amazing job with it.  After leaving, I was trying to figure out what Mike and Taylor aren’t good at.  As you can see, not much.

EVERYTHING in the store is made completely from scratch with the freshest ingredients.   Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever tasted.

More stuff to come!

My work printed… HUGE!

This is kind of a fun post for me.  Got to work with the amazing Southside Creative Group in conjunction with HireHere.org to get this advertising campaign up around the city and in the newspapers.  It was really fun going to the meeting, brainstorming, and working as a team to deliver a quality product to HireHere.org!

I believe these billboards are 16′ tall. How cool is that? It kind of unusual to drive down the interstate and see my work up for the world to see.  Next time you’re out, keep your eye out for these billboards!

This billboard image happens to be my wonderful sister-in-law Amber.  She dressed in her St. Johns server outfit to model for me.  You’ll be able to find this billboard across the street from The Terminal Restaurant on Market St.
