Snowy Day

My thrill of snow comes directly from my wife. Having been raised in Ft. Lauderdale and Southern California, she hadn’t been exposed to much snow in her lifetime. So off we went out side to grab some pictures! It was a shame that by the time we got outside, it was sleeting instead of snowing. My poor camera had to stay under our porch. Bummer. But at least the snow covered the ground for one whole day.Ah, the glory of a good snow day…

This is one of the two lantern lampposts in our front yard, and I think they’re pretty cool looking when snow-topped. I thought they were very Narnia-esque…
