Justin, Kristen and I met downtown Chattanooga to do their engagement shoot. I had a little time to kill, so I scouted out the area before they arrived. It was a cloudy day but the more I walked around, the more cool spots I found to shoot so I was getting excited!
This was also the first time I’ve ever been approached by someone of semi-authority asking me what I was shooting, what was I planned on shooting and telling me that if he caught me taking pictures of the “Brinks” security building, he’d have me arrested. If I wasn’t on my way to meet my clients, I would have taken the time to explain to this guy the rights that all photographers have. But that’s another story.
Once they arrived, we got into the photoshoot and they seemed almost immediately comfortable in front of the camera! I love emotion and energy in my shots and boy did they deliver! Check these out!

“Estate of Confusion”? You can’t beat that sign! Love it!

Then we moved from the downtown area to the Coolidge Park area to get some green in the pictures. The sun came out from behind the clouds and provided us with some absolutely gorgeous light! It was perfect!

My favorite shot of the day. Wow.

We did this shoot on Friday night and the park was packed. I was very excited when I was able to get some shots of them on the bridge and it looked like they had the whole bridge to themselves!

My goodness, I love sunsets.

Just so we don’t take ourselves too seriously:

I had an incredible time with you guys! Both of you have wonderful personalities and I can’t WAIT to photograph your wedding! Can’t we move up the date?
