Both Eric and Shyla are very successful photographers that live in Boston. They were kind enough to spend their week with us during the workshop. Eric was my roomie for the week so I got to know him better. The best word to describe him is fearless. Another word: confident. He will go anywhere and do anything for the photo that’s in his head. He was definitely an inspiration to watch.
I’ve known about Shyla for a long time and got to meet her briefly in Chattanooga. It was great to see her again and work along side of her. She’s amazing both in front of the camera and behind it. In fact, I’m proud of her since she got this months COVER of Rangefinder magazine and an article about her between the covers! How cool is that!? The best thing about her… she’s extremely kind and down-to-earth. I’m proud to call her my friend.
Check out these photos of them!

Here’s Eric throwing in a litle bit of his “ericness” — wearing a purple belt with his suit. Only he could get away with that. We were just happy that he decided against wearing his fish hat.

What do you do with a bride that’s willing to do anything? Why — you stick them in a refrigerator, of course! Shyla was a great sport!

Eric and Shyla… thank you again for spending the week with us. You guys absolutely rock!
