I have had a great time here in Asheville taking Corey McNabb’s fantastic Rockstar Workshop. I’ve had the privilege of hanging out and getting to know some amazing photographers from around the country! Through the 5 days, we had 4 photoshoots around Asheville and at the Biltmore Estate! Here is a sampling of the images that I got while I was there.
My friends, the incredible John and Lindsey Bamber, joined us for a day at the Biltmore modeling for us. Immensely successful photographers themselves, they showed us that not only are they masters behind the camera but also in front of it as well!
Love this photo of them taking time to enjoy the amazing landscape all around them.
As a side note, please understand that we took all of these photos in BELOW freezing temperatures. It was around 25 degrees that day. With the wind blowing, it easily felt in the teens. This next photo was shot when Linsdey was trying to warm back up between “takes”.
With her veil, it reminded me of an elegant look of the ’30’s. What better way to accentuate that feeling than to give the photo an old school feeling:
Another photographer from Asheville named Jill came out to model for us. She was great, but by the time I started working with her, I was moved to another area. I only had time to get a few shots out. But loved the look of this one:
One of the workshop attendees, Breanne Schaap, decided last minute to model for us since there was an extra wedding dress around. She probably regretted that decision pretty quickly seeing how cold it was there! But she was great to work with!
Eric Laurits and Shyla did an INCREDIBLE job of modeling for us! Love this photo of them! Hello!
This next photo won our little photo contest we had at the end of the week. I’m humbled because there was some amazing photos in the mix! What did I win? Oh… just an wedding album from White Glove… the most amazing album I’ve ever seen! I’m pumped! The owner of White Glove came to hang out for a couple of days but I’ll cover that in a supplemental post!
I had an incredible time…. learned a lot… and made a lot of new friends! Now to put in to practice all that I learned! Excellent!
