Lily Kate | Precious

Lily Kate turned 9 weeks old! You may remember her newborn session not very long ago. She sure has grown! In fact, she’s grown so much we tried to put her in the same chair we put her in for this photo:

It totally didn’t work. She’s didn’t fit horizontally like that anymore! Her head and feet were on both sides of the chair and was extremely uncomfortable for her, so we decided to skip it.:)We’ll have to find a sofa during her next shoot to document her growth!

When I got there, she was sleeping in her swing. I’ve learned that little babies waking up make the funniest faces! Stretching and yawning.

Since we actually had daylight and no rain, we braved the slightly chilly air to grab a few shots outside!

Then it was inside to feed little Lily Kate and spend some quality time with mom and dad:

Bath time was next. She loved it!

Check out how alert she is! She was aware of my presence (and the camera in front of my face) several times during the session! The word “precious” kept coming to my lips several times to describe her and that’s exactly what she is: Precious.

Jill Sullivan (Nana) - What a beautiful baby! She has changed so since Thanksgiving! 90% she looks like Scott. Definently has his eyes! I really miss being there to see all the kiddies and watching them grow. Mom and Dad look great, also.
Actually, this is the first we were able to see the first session when Lily was newborn, so we had a double treat. Thanks and give all a big hug from Nana. I miss you all!!!!January 16, 2008 – 6:34 pm
