Last Saturday, I got to hang with the amazing Palmertree family! If you don’t know them, you’re missing out! They’re a super-super cool family who live on the top of Monteagle mountain in the beautiful little town of Sewanee — home of the “university of the south”. I was really excited about heading up there because it was going to be a gorgeous day on Saturday. That’s what I get for looking at the weather in Chattanooga. Oops. I found out that in Chattanooga, the weather was sunny and warm. Sewanee, on the other hand, was on top of the mountain IN THE CLOUDS. Complete fog everywhere. But despite the foggy weather, we headed out anyways to go hiking and had an incredible time! Check out some of these pics!
I loved watching the parents interact with the children. You can quickly tell that they’re incredible parents and how much they love their children!
Then we made our way back to the house where the kids got to play around in the yard. The oldest had a dirt bike (on training wheels) but a dirt bike none-the-less… how cool is that!?
Here’s the youngest with his little scooter that he loves so much that they can’t leave home without it!
I had a blast with you guys! Thank you again for having me out!
Cheese shot of the day: funny faces!
